Anti-Money Laundering & Know Your Customer Policy
Last Updated: 5 September 2026
Play360 may conduct identity, age, payment, transaction, and risk-based verification checks to protect users and the platform from fraud, money laundering, unauthorised payments, identity theft, and other unlawful or prohibited activity.
1. Purpose of This Policy
The purpose of this AML & KYC Policy is to establish procedures designed to help Play360 identify its users, protect accounts, prevent fraudulent activity, and identify transactions or behaviour that may require further review.
Play360 may apply verification and transaction-monitoring measures in accordance with applicable laws, regulations, payment-provider requirements, and its internal security procedures.
2. What Does KYC Mean?
KYC means “Know Your Customer”. It is the process of verifying information about an account holder so that Play360 can establish the identity, age, and relevant payment details of the person using the account.
KYC checks may be performed when an account is created, when a transaction requires verification, before a withdrawal, or whenever Play360 reasonably considers additional verification necessary.
3. Information Required for KYC
Depending on the user’s account, location, transaction activity, and applicable requirements, Play360 may request:
- Full legal name.
- Date of birth.
- Residential address.
- Mobile number and email address.
- PAN card or PAN information where applicable.
- Passport or another valid government-issued identity document.
- Bank-account details or bank-account documentation.
- Additional information reasonably required to verify the account.
4. Information Must Match Your Documents
Users must provide accurate information when registering a Play360 account.
The name, date of birth, address, and other relevant information provided during registration should correspond with the user’s valid identity documents, subject to legitimate differences permitted by the verification process.
Users must not provide false, misleading, incomplete, altered, or fraudulent information during registration or verification.
5. Withdrawal KYC Verification
Play360 may require successful KYC verification before processing a withdrawal.
Depending on the applicable verification requirements, users may be required to provide:
- PAN Card or PAN information where applicable.
- Passport or valid government-issued ID for identity and age verification.
- Bank-account documentation to verify that the receiving bank account belongs to the Play360 account holder.
A withdrawal may remain pending until the required verification has been successfully completed.
6. Own Account Only
Users must use their own verified payment and bank accounts for deposits and withdrawals.
Deposits from third-party accounts are not permitted, and withdrawals to third-party accounts are not permitted.
Third-Party Payment Restriction
If Play360 identifies a deposit made from an unauthorised third-party account, the amount may be placed on hold while the transaction is investigated.
Where appropriate, Play360 may attempt to return the funds to the original account holder or payment source, subject to applicable law and payment-provider procedures.
7. Anti-Money Laundering Measures
Play360 may implement reasonable measures designed to detect and prevent the use of its platform for money laundering or other financial crime.
Such measures may include:
- Identity and age verification.
- Payment-account ownership verification.
- Transaction monitoring.
- Fraud and security checks.
- Review of unusual transaction patterns.
- Review of suspicious account behaviour.
- Additional verification where appropriate.
8. Suspicious Transactions
Play360 may review transactions or account activity that appears unusual, inconsistent with the user’s account information, or potentially connected to fraud, unauthorised payments, money laundering, identity theft, or other prohibited activity.
Examples may include unusual payment patterns, repeated failed transactions, use of third-party payment accounts, suspicious deposits or withdrawals, attempts to bypass verification, or activity associated with compromised accounts.
9. Source of Funds Verification
Where reasonably necessary, Play360 may request information or documentation to verify the source or legitimacy of funds involved in transactions.
Users must provide truthful information and cooperate with reasonable verification requests.
10. False, Forged or Manipulated Documents
Users must not submit forged, altered, manipulated, stolen, or otherwise fraudulent identity or financial documents.
This includes documents submitted for:
- Age verification.
- Identity verification.
- PAN verification.
- Bank-account verification.
- Withdrawal verification.
- Payment verification.
Account Enforcement
If Play360 determines that a user has intentionally provided false, fraudulent, forged, or misleading information, Play360 may restrict, suspend, or permanently terminate the account, subject to applicable law.
Related transactions may also be placed on hold or investigated where reasonably necessary.
11. Account Monitoring
Play360 may monitor account and transaction activity for security, fraud prevention, compliance, and protection of the platform.
Monitoring may include account activity, transaction records, payment information, device information, IP information, and other technical or account-related information where permitted by law.
12. Enhanced Verification
Play360 may request additional verification where an account or transaction presents increased security, fraud, payment, or compliance concerns.
Additional verification may include further identity documents, proof of address, bank-account information, transaction information, or other reasonable documentation.
13. Temporary Account Restrictions
During a security, fraud, payment, or compliance review, Play360 may temporarily restrict certain account functions, including deposits, withdrawals, or other services.
Restrictions may remain in place until the relevant verification or investigation has been completed.
14. Permanent Account Termination
Play360 may permanently terminate an account where serious or confirmed violations occur, including fraud, identity theft, forged documents, unauthorised payments, deliberate attempts to bypass KYC requirements, or other prohibited activity.
Any action concerning funds associated with such activity will be handled in accordance with applicable law, payment-provider rules, and Play360’s policies.
15. Cooperation With Authorities
Where legally required or permitted, Play360 may cooperate with law-enforcement agencies, regulators, courts, payment providers, financial institutions, or other authorised authorities in relation to suspected fraud, financial crime, security incidents, or other unlawful activity.
16. Record Keeping
Play360 may retain KYC information, transaction records, verification records, and relevant security information for as long as reasonably necessary for legitimate business, security, fraud prevention, dispute resolution, and legal or regulatory purposes.
17. Privacy and Data Protection
Personal information collected during KYC and AML checks will be handled in accordance with the Play360 Privacy Policy and applicable data-protection requirements.
Play360 will take reasonable measures designed to protect personal and verification information against unauthorised access, misuse, loss, or disclosure.
